How To Display History of Survey Date In RADIUS
1. Go to Tools History Display by date…, the Display by date window will be displayed.
2. Tick on the Survey date and then select the condition from the list box. For example to display “Survey date Equal to Today” then click on Apply button.
3. To reset the display, untick Survey date and click on the Reset display button. Then click on the Apply button.

A. Straightforward
1. Click on the Select current class button at the toolbar menu.
2. Select the class to be digitized
3. Then click on the Digitise menu
4. Click on the Line button, and start draw the line
5. Then right click on the mouse button within the window area and select Accept.
6. Click the line and click right mouse button. Then select Show attributes.
7. The attribute browsers widow will be displayed. Then key in the attribute.
8. Click Apply button to save the entry. Then click Cancel to dismiss.
9. The Line will be displayed

B. Using Coordinates (X,Y)
1. Click on the Select current class button at the toolbar menu.

6. The Keyboard entry window will be displayed.
7. Enter the trigonometric station (X,Y) coordinates. X = 256323 Y = 743080
8. Click on the Apply button and then OK button.
9. Click on that point and right click on the mouse button. Then select Show attributes.
10. The attribute browsers window will be displayed. Next key in the symbol number.
11. Click apply button to save entry. Then click Cancel button to dismiss

How To Create Database
1. Got to Start -> Programs -> Laser-Scan -> Manage or double click on the Manage icon.
2. Enter your Gothic username at User Name / Password form and press OK button.
3. Now the Manage Version Browser window appears.
*Precaution: To create a database, ensure that the Manage Version Browser has been detached from any database. To detach the existing database click on the Detach button.
4. Click on the Yes button at the Question Dialog box.
5. Go to the Database menu -> Create…
6. The Integer Dialog box appears. Enter the number of database, for example 11. Then click on the OK button.
7. The Question Dialog box will be displayed. Click on the Yes button.
8. Click on the No button at the Question Dialog box below. This is because the created database does not use the default space.
9. Next, click on the No button.
10. Another Question Dialog box appears. Click on the No button.
11. The Working Dialog box will be displayed to show that the system is creating the database.
12. Then click on the Attach button.
13. The Select database to attach to dialog box will be displayed. Select the number of database that you have created and click on the OK button.
12. When attached the created database, you should see the new default system datasets in the Manage Version Browser window.
13. Then restore the following backup file to complete the creation of the database.

14. Next restore UES dataset from folder\D:\SPgD_CUSTOMS\ TEMPLATE_GOTHIC\ Template_DB\*.bck .

How To Create A New Map File in OCAD
Creating a New Map File
All objects in an OCAD file are based on symbols. These symbols depend on the type of map you want to create. For the following map type's sample symbol sets are included with OCAD:
• City maps
• Tourist maps
• Orienteering maps
• Geological maps
To create a new map file:
1. Choose New from the File menu. The New File dialog box appears.
2. In the Load symbols from box select one of the sample symbol sets. A description of the selected symbol set appears below the symbol box.
3. Click OK. The symbols appear in the symbol box on the right side of the screen.

After a while the OCAD start screen appears (if the start screen does not appear after a while, because the corresponding Windows function has been switched off, start the Windows Explorer and go the CD drive. In the root directory of the OCAD CD doubleclick "Autorun.exe").
2. In the start screen click English.
3. Click Next.
4. Enter your license information. You can find the license name, the license number and license key on the back of the CD cover.
5. The OCAD setup program appears. If required, you can change the proposed directory to another directory.
6. Click Start. The setup program copies the files from the OCAD CD to the hard disk.
When installation is complete, remove the OCAD CD from the disk drive and keep it in a safe place.
